I am a performance artist. Often my work is provocative. The intent is to illicit a reaction from audiences by challenging established beliefs about who we are as human beings, and our role within society.
I am fascinated by the investigation of personal identity: exploring topics such as gender, sexuality, culture and politics, examined through a personal lens.
My art is a way to deal with my inner anxieties. I ask what are the characteristics that define us all. What happens when we question these preconceptions? What fades away and what remains?
I have produced an eclectic portfolio. At times it challenges what you expect art to be. Sometimes it is just for fun.
I am an artist.
The production of this portfolio website was assisted by a grant from Arts NSW, an agency of the New South Wales Government and supported by the Visual Arts and Craft Strategy, an initiative of the Australian State and Territory Governments. The program is administered by the National Association for the Visual Arts (NAVA).
